Right now I’m mentally preparing for 4am on Thursday morning. That is when I start my first trek back to Oregon for this summer full of weddings and senior portraits. I can’t believe the season is starting already! 
When my husband and I moved down to Los Angeles in January, this Thursday (May 20th) was the one set date in my calander signifiing a real change in pace. I have had 5 months to get settled in Hollywood before the chaos of summer wedding photography traveling starts. But this is it. I’m heading up for my first 2 weddings of the season as well as a handful of other portrait sessions, and I’m nervous and excited! Excited to see family, take lots of pictures, meet some amazing people that I’ve only talked to over email, and be back in the beautiful Oregon air. I’m nervous however, to drive 14 hours straight by myself and mainly be away from my amazing husband for 2 and a half weeks. Thank God for Skype!
For those of you inquiring minds, I’m going to be available for additional portrait shoots between May 26th and June 2nd if you would like to fit something in.
