Well I arrived in Oregon safe and sound and now I’m going to try to catch you all up on some of the headshots I did this week back in Los Angeles. You may recognize Stevens from our headshot session last year that was up on the blog. We have been planning this session for a while, so I’m glad to finally have it out and accomplished. We did quite a few looks and went to a couple different locations. It was a great time and I’m looking forward to working more with him in the future!

Erika is such a gem, she brought so much energy (and so many clothes) to her headshot shoot. It made it easy to talk through her different roles and goals in the the industry and set up the perfect shoot for her. She never stopped smiling and laughing, it was so contagious. Erika’s boyfriend came along and was totally up for being put to work, he carried clothing changes, held reflector, shuffled accessories and makeup, he was amazing! Thank you both for being so wonderful and having such a good time!

I’ve been loving shooting actor headshots down here in Los Angeles. My favorite part of the move to Southern California so far has been the beautiful weather. Hollywood is full of fun things to do and people to meet and I’m amazed at how sunny weather makes it easier for me to get everything done. Olivia is one of those fun people I’ve had the joy of meeting. She is a beautiful singer AND wonderful actor. If you’re down in LA this month, catch her starring in Lascivious Somethings at the Ford Theater!

I’m so excited to start adding in my Los Angeles work to this blog. Headshot photography is what I’m primarily moving into while down in Hollywood. Our central location and wonderful area lend itself perfectly, so it’s an easy transition. Mimi is an incredible artist, and half of the crazy awesome songwriting duo, Mimi and Teft.
