I had the phenomenal pleasure of heading out to Maui this last month with my husband to visit our parents who live on island (bummer eh?). It was such an amazing time and has been a whirlwind of catching up since I returned, but I’m now (for the most part) back in the swing of things and will be posting more recent sessions soon! In the mean time, here are some documented highlights from the trip.
First off… The sunsets, I mean WOW, every night is a new adventure to see what would happen. This is the Maui sunset view from my mother and father in law’s back porch. Yowza!

We spent good quality time on the back porch, morning coffee and good talks and sunset watching (when we weren’t bbqin on the beach). Casey’s dad is a Luthier and made this slide guitar for him. Casey finally got to play it and bring it home this trip. It is so beautiful and sounds divine!
When we weren’t on the porch for sunsets, we were down on the beach for fire pits and feasts, these were taken in front of our favorite evening beach spot…

We did so many amazing things (jumping off 60ft bridges, swimming in waterfalls, camping, hiking, etc) that I didn’t want to haul my camera around for, so I didn’t really take that many pictures. But I did get it down to the beach (where we spent almost every morning) for a little taste of Maui life ![]()
These are my awesome nephews and niece, they were so fun to hang out with, and loooved their boogie boards

the boys, my super cool sister-in-law, and mom and dad, the beach bunnies

I can’t really go anywhere without “working” (good thing I LOVE my work!) and this trip I got the chance to shoot some headshots as well as a lovie dovie sunset beach session, I mean, how could I not! (while shooting we also saw this sinking yacht, funny story actually, you can ask me about it later..)

Thats all but I’ll just leave you with one sunset for the road, I mean, everyone loves sunsets right?
