Tia [Senior Portrait and Headshot Photography]

You May recognize Tia from her Fall senior portrait session with me. Tia decided earlier in the school year to do a double senior session so she could have the start of the year and the end of her senior year covered. We met up in Corvallis Oregon to do her second session and it was so good to see her again! She wants to pursue acting after she graduates so we shot a few that would be headshot worthy for her as well. She is such a doll and I can’t wait to see where her future takes her.

Tia is just about the sweetest thing. She also pretty much ate the camera alive. This girl, I tell ya! This was one of those sessions that totally fired me up, like I fell in love with what I do all over again. But the best thing of all is that we are doing a two season session for her, so in the spring we get to do it all over again!

Ashlee [Oregon Senior Photography]

I was so excited when I got a call from Ashlee asking to hire me for her graduation pictures. Ashlee and I have and a really fun professional and unprofessional relationship. She used to be one of my employees when I managed a local Corvallis coffee shop. We became good friends then, and when I left to do photography full time, she stepped into my management position. We’ve become even better friends since then, so it was an honor to be chosen as her photographer for her graduation from Oregon State University (I don’t get to do many COLLEGE grad pics!). The most fun part about the shoot was that Ashlee absolutely HATES to be in front of the camera, so we got to laugh a lot about that and do substantial amounts of talking in between locations to make it less of a photo shoot and more of a hang out time

Ashlee, I’m so excited for you in the new season and all that it has for you. Congratulations!

Kyungla [Salem Oregon Senior Photography]

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to post a senior portrait session, which makes me sad! I love photographing high school seniors, and I’m so very excited that Senior Portrait season is finally starting back up again. Kyungla kicked of my season last week, which will be shortly followed by all my senior rep sessions in May. Side Note – I still have a few slots open for class of 2011 Senior Reps! Senior Reps get a free Lauren Hurt Seniors photo shoot and much more when they refer their friends. Use the contact form if you or someone you know would be interested, I only take a limited number of Seniors from each High School, so hurry up if you still want to get in!

In the mean time, I’ll introduce Kyungla! She is a senior at Western Mennonite School outside of Salem. We had so much fun trekking around Corvallis, dodging the rain and laughing a lot. Hope you enjoy!

Annisa [Corvallis Oregon Senior Photography]

Well I’m off to visit my inlaws for a week and a half on the beautiful island of Maui Hawaii so this will be my last post before a little break. Annisa squeazed right into my window of opportunity before I left so I wanted to make sure and get her shoot done. We had a great Downtown Corvallis senior shoot because one of the first things Annisa told me was that she really likes allyways, so we went exploring and the weather cleared up perfectly for our 2 hour shoot, lucky us!
