I’ve had this post ready for a couple days now but haven’t been able to put it up because I just didn’t know what to say about this wedding. It was…. aaaa! I can’t figure out the right word to capture how special it was! Maybe… splendor! Rich, Joy-FULL (and even that’s an understatement), it was monumental. First, road tripping to Arizona with some of my best friends (including the Bride’s two brothers), being unabashedly welcomed into such a fantastic family, and then traveling to the PERFECT wedding location – Tubac Golf and Spa Resort in Tubac Arizona. It was such a fantastic hidden gem in in the middle of the desert a few miles from the Mexico border. This was also the place where Tin Cup was filmed. The coordinators at Tubac were amazing and I would highly recommend the resort to any Arizona bride. Second, Emma and Ely are just the best. Emma planned the wedding in 3 months (whhaaaaat!) and had the most patient, carefree, fun loving attitude about everything. And everyone who was at the wedding loved these two so much that the entire experience was one huge joy fest. I think that is what a wedding should be. Notable moments : Me getting to drive a golf cart around all day, Emma and Ely’s 1 goal of taking pictures with the cows (!!!), the boys lifting the Bride up on a chair, not realizing that her head was going to smash into the ginormous chandelier above her (yikes!), and of course… DJ Johnny rocking the face off of the dance floor – He was ahhhhmazing. Anyway, you should probably look at these pictures… enjoy

And they lived happily ever after!

Hey everyone, just wanted to wish you all a happy new year. I hope you all have a wonderful evening tonight to ring in the new year – whether it be dressed in your finest (or sparkliest) or in your comfies snuggling on the couch. May the reflections of the last year be warm, and the hopes for the next year be joyful. It’s going to be a great one!

…those of you who grew up loving theatre may immediately get that reference, but no, this post is not about RENT, its about MOO.COM and how much I love them! If you are a photographer or creative professional you should check them out at Moo.com. They have magical print technology that allows you to press print a bunch of business cards, or post cards, all with different images on them. This allows me to send all my wonderful couples holiday cards with their beautiful mugs on them. They are lovely mugs aren’t they?
I just had to send out cards this year because I am SOOOOOO thankful for the amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of working with this year. I had an amazing time making beautiful pictures for all of these wonderful people. If you are one of those, reading this, then I have to say again thank you. You are the best. I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas/Hanukkah/any other holiday you may celebrate and wish an equally awesome start to the new year. I wholeheartedly believe its going to be an amazing year. I Can’t Wait.
